Affiliate Program

If you write about AI companions, run a comparison site or maintain a newsletter in this space, you can earn a commission for readers you send to AI Boyfriends. This page explains how it works and how to apply. It is a short programme with a small number of partners rather than an open network.

How it works

  1. 01You apply by email

Tell us where you publish and roughly what your audience is. There is no application form on this site on purpose — a form would mean collecting personal data behind a page that has no business holding it, and an email thread is easier for both sides to keep.

  2. 02We send the terms

Commission structure, attribution window, payment schedule and the content rules, in writing, before you agree to anything. We do not publish rates on this page because a number here would be a headline rather than an offer, and the actual terms depend on where and how you publish.

  3. 03You get a tracked link

One link per placement, so you can see which piece of writing is doing the work. No scripts to install, no widget to embed and no pixel to add to your pages.

What we ask

Short list, strictly applied. Breaking any of these ends the arrangement rather than starting a conversation about it.

Disclose the relationship

Clearly, in the piece, where a reader will see it before they click. This is a legal requirement in the United States, not a courtesy, and it is the fastest way to lose a partnership here.

No invented numbers

Do not attribute ratings, user counts or activity figures to us. We do not publish them, so anything of that kind in your copy is fabricated, and it attaches to our name as much as to yours.

No promotion to minors

No placements on properties aimed at under-eighteens, and no campaigns targeting them. This is absolute and is the one rule with no discussion attached to it at all.

No incentivised or forced traffic

No pop-unders, no auto-redirects, no cookie stuffing, no bidding on our brand terms, and no trademark-confusing domains. A click that the reader did not intend is worth nothing to us.

The other direction

For completeness, since you are considering a commercial relationship with us: we are also on the receiving end of one. This site earns a commission when a reader continues into a partner service, which is how it is funded. There is no advertising here and no paid placement in the catalogue, but that referral relationship exists and is stated on the about page as well as in the terms.

It is worth saying what that does and does not change. It does not buy anyone a place in the catalogue, and it does not move a product up a comparison table, because the tables record capabilities rather than opinions and there is no ordering in them to sell. What it does mean is that we have an interest in you sending readers who are genuinely looking for something, which is the same interest you have.

Who this suits

Publishers who already write about this category and have an audience that trusts them on it. That usually means a comparison site, a newsletter, a long-running forum presence or a channel with a specific editorial angle. It suits people who would be writing about AI companions anyway and want the work to pay for itself.

It does not suit arbitrage — buying traffic cheaply and pointing it here — and it does not suit anyone who wants a network to manage the relationship for them. The programme is deliberately small, and both of those models need volume rather than a conversation.

Apply

Write to hello@aiboyfriends.org with “Affiliate” in the subject line. A person reads it, and you will get an answer either way. There is no community server, no group chat and no social account behind this — one inbox is the whole thing.
